The 12th November saw another successful UK Bus Awards pay tribute to a number of Belmont clients.
2009 saw Belmont, this year in association with QBE Insurance, sponsoring the UK Operator of the Year award for the 11th time but rarely have we seen an event where our clients have been so prominent in the proceeding. With no fewer than 9 awards won by Belmont clients and a further 18 nominations and highly recommended accolades, it was certainly heartening to see as many organisation that we know being recognised for a variety of accomplishments and positive initiatives.
Indeed the stories behind every nomination paid testament to the continuing excellence shown in the Bus Industry and our congratulations go to every nominee and award winner.
Our picture shows Ian Mills, Roger French and Adrian Mitchell UK Operator of the Year award winners Brighton and Hove Bus and Coach Company with Belmont International’s own Phil White.
Other Belmont client winners and runners-up were Western Greyhound, Transdev, Stagecoach, Norfolk Green, Ipswich Buses, Epsom Coaches Group, Go Ahead and Trent Barton.
